Monday, March 2 was Dr. Seuss’s birthday. He would have been 104! Both Ms. Beukman and Ms. Simpson grade one classes celebrated this famous author’s birthday by having a morning of 5 stations: designing socks, playing math games, reading books by Dr. Seuss, playing with “oobleck”, and making cat in the hat hats. The morning ended with a read aloud of the story Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss and the students ate green eggs and ham!
