The grade one students went on a field trip to the London Heritage farm to learn about Richmond’s agricultural history. Students learned about the London family that settled on the farm in the 1880’s and the chores they endured around the farm. The trip included a tour of the farmhouse, heritage gardens, chicken coops, and farming equipment to discover pioneer life during the founding days of Richmond.
